have i mentioned i’m from oklahoma city, the bible belt? well, i am, and i’m definitely not ashamed….i think this city and state have quite a few hidden gems of their own that are overlooked. ...and then there are things (and many people), that deservingly should be overlooked. so, I am home to celebrate baby jesus’ birthday and today had to do some shopping. naturally, one of the gifts on the list was at bass pro shop. now, let me preface with this is not a hidden gem, but it’s definitely entertaining. entertaining, indeed. and might I add, they spared NO expense on this interior….
above: where all the action happened... "oklahoma's great american outdoor store".
above: pitched metal ceiling with oklahoma flags lining the walls.
above: innocent by-stander trying on caps….we may have purchased one or two of these.
above: the fish tank….quite entertaining. it gives the impression you’re swimming with the trout.
above: that’s eric. eric’s belt has a confederate flag on it. that’s nice isn’t it? sorry i had to share.
above: innocent by-stander relaxing by the creek/parking lot.
p.s.: at one point someone announced over the intercom “will the person with the digital camera please come up to customer service”…

i know why you were really taking a pic of that guy's "belt"...
