happy new year! i know I started whosyourdacky off (by being m.i.a.) slowly this year but this is not an example of the remaining 357- days to come. i promise have i a fine excuse…
2 weeks. that’s the remaining time between now and design after dark | SKIN. ah, we’re excited. the artists have started dropping off their objects and it’s going to be a good year.
let’s look at the merchandise. first, i‘ll introduce you to my friends at doublebutter. they design furniture for a living…and they’re a talented duo. local. i’ll go into their furniture on another day, but you can check it out here . for d.a.d. | SKIN, they have designed a sculpture piece filled with all items that remind us of SKIN, latex & keys & wood. ok, all provocative SKIN comments aside, we’re slightly flattered they have designed a 1 of a kind armadillo just for us. the lucky bidder of this piece will receive a key that will unlock the coffee table somewhere around town.

on to simpler things…..but more wood. cypher 13, a graphic design team in boulder. a trio. talented as well. 823 is the title of their object…a “skinless” naked pyramid. it’s quite nice, but I’ll let you read their verbage because it’s lengthy. object aside, i just hope the trio shows up to the event in their white outfits.

what an awesome event. i hope that "someone" that wt home had a good excuse...like her feet were klling her and she was exhausted. so fun.

I have my ticket! I'm ready to go! I even went to the pre-party last night. And what a pre-party it was! I'm even overusing exclamation points it was so much fun! That said, SOMEONE went home a little early, despite her claims earlier in the evening to being ready to DANCE all night long. Ahem.
