{almost} 2 years in the making.
i was approached by a savvy couple in need of a sophisticated, young, smart, creative, interior designer. ok, ok, i embellish a little, but CKY was officially hired!
the project: modern residence in boulder, co.
the team: amazing! the team, when i arrived on-site, was mainly the contractor and millworker. other sub-contractors included landscape architect, steel fabricator, wood flooring co.,etc.)
my tasks at hand: custom millwork (cabinetry) design, all railing design and details, finish palette selection, plumbing, lighting fixture selection, and all construction documents for pricing & construction. as well as furniture, artwork, and accessories.
a. stair tread design with custom steel vertical railing. artwork by ian fisher. lighting fixture by y lighting.
b. living room with stone fireplace and custom steel mantle. furniture: sofa from room and board, lounge seating from HW home, vintage hans wegner folding chairs by nines, area rug from crate and barrel, desk chair by doublebutter, and all accessories from lee alex decor.
c. custom wine wall @ bar area w/ custom lighting.
d. master bath with freestanding tub by duravit. artwork by adam stacey.
e. exterior deck with custom steel railing. furniture: table by west elm and vintage chairs by unknown.
