guess how much i luv you

9 months ago my best friend {of 15 years} requested i fill a special wall in her home….for baby schettini.

 

typically, my paintings are oversized and solely an activity for my enjoyment. of course, some exceptions have been made. given 24” square to work with and working off a green velvet vintage chair in the room {from gen's latest trip to denver}, I automatically knew I wanted to find a quote from a children’s book to incorporate the final inspiration, text. a friend {tid bits} suggested a recent children’s book, “guess how much i luv you”. great idea.

 

and so, sophie marie schettino was born |  07.15.2010 | 7lbs. 7oz.
