i made a visit to my alma mater, recently, to catch a glimpse of the new fred jone's jr. art museum addition. the addition was built to house a generously donated collection by the weiztenhoffers. lucky for us { oklahoma university } we had to build a new museum to display the artwork. the space turned out to be unique, bright, and clean with the light color stone and glass defining the modern design.  architect: hugh newell jacobsen location: norman, oklahoma

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

color inspiration in architecture: yellow

yellow seems to be that color that could potentially could be overpowering, but if used wisely it can be a nice thing.
